The Marvel Cinematic Universe began in 2008 with the release of Iron Man, and shows no signs of slowing when it comes to taking over Hollywood. The MCU now pumps out three blockbuster films per year, along with several television series, and recently Marvel Studios gained access to even more characters with Disney’s acquisition of Fox. The MCU already reads so well, but if producers continue with this attention to detail, its future looks to be even more spectacular!So, here are some mind blowing facts about Marvel Cinematic Universe.
1. Marvel didn't want Robert Downey Jr. to play Iron Man saying "Under no circumstances are we prepared to hire him at any price"
2. Tom Holland did screen tests with both Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. to find out with whom he had better chemistry and which side he would finally join in civil war.
3. Chris Evans declined the role of Captain America 3 times but was finally convinced by RDJ. He did not want to play another superhero role after the not so successful Fantastic Four.
4. Tom Holland found out he was playing Spider Man on Instagram.
5. Jeremy Renner trained with Olympic archers in order to prepare for his role in Marvel Films.
6. The shawarma post credits in The Avengers was shot after the movie's premiere. It was RDJ's idea. In the mean time Chris Evans (Captain America) was required to grow facial hair. during the entire scene Chris kept his hand on his face.

16. During the shoot of this scene(image below) the helicopter prop actually started drifting away. So, the expressions on Chris’ face are real. He injured his arm in the process. This scene is Tom Hiddleston's (Loki) favorite scene from all MCU movies. He said, "I mean Chris Evans does a bicep curl - with a helicopter! If you don't love that, we can't be friends."
17. Jennifer Connelly who voices Karen/Suit Lady in Homecoming is Paul Bettany's (voiced JARVIS, now plays Vision) wife in real life.
18. Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) badly wants Wolverine to be a part of the MCU.
19. Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Tony Stark is what Stan Lee exactly had in mind when he first created the character. One more reason to love RDJ.
