Apex Legends Weapon Details - All Guns, Damage & Stats - Not A Myth
Playing battle royale games can be a lonely, frustrating experience. You've already heard the formula by now: 50-100 or so players drop onto a single map with nothing, and then they loot and fight until a single player or squad is left standing. The randomness inherent within the battle royale genre is a huge reason why games like "PUBG" and "Fortnite" have exploded and come to dominate the industry within the past year.
Last week, developer Respawn Entertainment surprise-released "Apex Legends," a multiplayer shooter set in their popular, although arguably overlooked, "Titanfall" universe. Looking at the bullet points, it has everything you would expect from a multiplayer game released in 2019.
Weapons & Damage List
Here is a list of all weapons currently available in Apex Legends. We've compiled their stats, damage, dps, and available slots for each of them. There's a wide vary of options that you can use including pistols, shotguns, SMGs, LMGs, and sniper rifles.
The full list of weapons and guns is below:
PISTOLS
RE-45 AUTO
P2020
Wingman
RE-45 AUTO
This is a fast shooting pistol that can quickly deal a bunch of damage if you can keep control of the recoil. It uses light rounds and can hold 15 rounds.
While its fast fire rate surpasses that of the Peacekeeper and Mastiff, the EVA-8 Auto still struggles desperately in the damage department. The EVA-8 Auto uses shotgun shells and holds 8-rounds. You can hold down the fire button to repeatedly fire the weapon.
While the EVA-8 isn't terrible, simply just doesn't live up to the standard of the other weapons in the shotgun category.
Mastiff Shotgun
Despite being extremely rare and only firing unique ammunition that cannot be replenished, the Mastiff Shotgun boasts some of the best weapon stats in the game. The Mastiff uses unique ammunition, so once you run out you'll have to replace the weapon. These are pretty hard to find, and as far as we can tell it can only be found from a supply drop.
With the ability to deal 288 damage in a single shot, the four round weapon can easily clear an entire room with ease when placed into the right hands.
Mozambique Shotgun
Holding a total of 3 rounds per magazine, the triple-barrel Mozambique shotgun pistol is one of the most unique weapons to be featured in Apex Legends. The Mozambique Shotgun is a pretty interesting weapon since it's a pistol and a shotgun mashed together. DESCRIPTION
Although it may be the most unique in the game, the Mozambique is by far the worst and most under powered weapon in Apex Legends.
Peacekeeper
The Peacekeeper is a pretty standard shotgun that you should be used to using in most games. It uses shotgun shells and can hold six rounds. A part from the Mastiff, the Peacekeeper is by far one of the best weapons in the shotgun category. With great all round stats, it's hard to argue against the Peacekeeper, as there is no denying that it is one of the best weapons currently in the game.
When paired with the Precision Choke Hop-Up, you will have the ability to hold down the aim button and charge up your shots. This allows you to fire a much closer spread, making the damage even more lethal to your opponents.
Holding a total of 16 rounds per magazine, the twin barrel full-automatic Alternator is a slow firing SMG that looks and feels much more like a Pistol.
Although the Alternator SMG lacks the fire rate that is seen in the R-99, it does happen to have significantly better accuracy. If you do happen to pick up this weapon, be prepared to handle some rather challenging recoil when firing at those from afar.
Prowler Burst PDW
This basically looks like a P90, but it fires 5-round bursts instead of just quickly firing. It uses heavy rounds and holds 20 rounds in a magazine giving you 4 total shots before needing to reload. DESCRIPTION
5-round burst SMG.

DAMAGE & STATS Bodyshot: 14 damage per bullet, 70 if you hit all the shots, DPS: 186 Headshot: 21 damage per bullet, 105 if you hit all the shots, DPS: 279
Topping the SMG category, this P90 style SMG is an easy choice for those looking for the perfect close quarter weapon.
R-99
Holding a total of 18 rounds per magazine, the rapid-fire automatic R-99 is a stock standard SMG that fires fast but ultimately suffers in the damage category.
Despite the R-99's blistering fire rate, the weapon falls short in almost every other category when compared to other SMGs. That's not all though, as the weapon also struggles with accuracy and is primarily best used in close quarter combat.
Holding a total of 18 rounds per magazine, the three round burst style rifle has some rather impressive power capabilities thanks to it's quick fire rate.

DAMAGE & STATS Bodyshot: 18 damage per shot and 54 if you hit the full burst, DPS: 144 Headshot: 24 damage per shot and 72 if you hit the full burst, DPS: 288
However, miss your shots and you're going to find it challenging to keep up with others in the Assault Rifle category. In most cases, many prefer to run the weapon in Single-Shot mode as it's significantly easier to control.
R-301 Carbine
Kind of the bridge between an SMG and an Assault Rifle. It's accurate but it does lower damage due to it using light ammo. It holds 18-rounds per magazine.
Although the R-301 Carbine is among one of the weakest Assault Rifles in the category, it does have some rather impressive accuracy and fire-rate.
VK-47 Flatline
Holding a total of 20 rounds per magazine, the full-automatic VK-47 Flatline features some of the highest damage rates in the AR category.
When paired with its rather impressive stats across accuracy, range, and stability, it's safe to say that the VK-47 is one of the best overall Assault Rifles available.
With little to fault, the VK-47 Flatline is one of the most balanced weapons within Apex Legends.
Havoc
The Havoc is different in quite a few ways from the other Assault Rifles – and all the other guns in Apex Legends, to be honest. Havoc is the first gun in Apex Legends that can equip two different Hop-Ups (the Turbocharger and the Selectfire Receiver), but it can’t equip both at once.
Havoc is the only Assault Rifle to take Energy Ammo.
The Havoc is not a weapon that’s easy to get to grips with, and you’ll need to play around with it for a while before you can start to use it effectively.
With the power to stop enemies in a single magazine, the Devotion still
manages to suffer strong recoil issues and a rather slow fire rate to
first begin.
M600 Spitfire
A surprisingly accurate LMG that has a reasonable fire rate and does solid damage. It uses heavy rounds and holds 35 rounds in a magazine. The reload time which is usually a weakness of this class is pretty quick.
Although the Devotion is a favorite amongst the community and has the upper hand when it comes to damage, the weapon unfortunately has too many downfalls when compared the full-automatic capabilities of the M600 Spitfire.
The scout does decent damage and you can fire it relatively quickly. This is a versatile sniper and is good for mid-to-long range. It uses light rounds and holds a 10-round magazine.
When decked out with attachments, the G7 Scout boasts decent damage capabilities, solid accuracy, and a relatively fast fire rate for a Sniper Rifle.
Kraber .50-CAL Sniper
Much like the Mastiff shotgun, the legendary Kraber .50-CAL Sniper is extremely rare and is the only other weapon to use a unique ammo type that can not be replenished.
This powerful bolt-action style sniper rifle dealings one of the most fatal body shots in the game. While headshots can take down enemies in one single shot regardless of their shield and health levels. If you manage to get your hands on this weapon, it's safe to assume that it's game over for many players, especially if you know how to use snipers correctly.
Longbow DMR
More of a standard sniper rifle that uses heavy rounds and packs a pretty big punch. It's also one of the only weapons that can use five different attachment. It has a 5-round magazine. The semi-auto Longbow DMR Sniper Rifle deals nearly twice the amount of damage of the G7 Scout.
To make the weapon even more appealing, be sure to equip the Hop-Up attachment for additional headshot damage. If you're looking for a rifle similar to the G7 Scout, the Longbow DMR is a great choice.
Triple Take
This is a weird sniper rifle because when you fire it takes one round but it fires three projectiles. The projectiles fire in a horizontal line but in a pretty tight grouping. It's possible to hit players with only a piece of the shot, but this is generally going to happen pretty rarely. It uses energy ammo and holds 5-rounds in a magazine. This gun can be upgraded with the Precision Choke that tightens up the spread.
When taking this into consideration, along with the struggle of finding
Energy ammo, there are simply much better choices to make in the Sniper
Category.
